Reviews
Margarita was SUPER delicious. Tacos and rice also delicious. Service was amazing. I walked in unsure of how many people total would be joining our party, thankfully they weren't busy and gave us table where we'd be able to add more if needed. Server was awesome. He was attentive but also let us have our conversations. Will definitely be back!
I tried this place 5 years ago in the old location and was not very impressed at the time. I've been going to El Huapango since then. I've heard good things about the new location for Hacienda. They get some things right such as their fajitas. I will say that there was not enough salsa on their enchiladas verdes I ordered and I couldn't taste any alcohol in the margaritas. The chips and salsa/queso were fine. One issue they have is the building they are in is extremely loud. It's the same way at First Street Tavern on the other side. Prepare to yell your order. Service was decent.
If this your first visit, do not search by name into Google Maps. It will take you to the old place. The listing is accurate, but for some reason if you type in the name manually it links to the old location. Instead either find it on the map directly or plug in the current address instead of the name. This is a GOOGLE issue, not the restaurant’s issue.
This place is awesome! We went here when it was across the street, but this new place is so much better. The food is delicious and the drinks, too! 😁 The the staff is friendly and attentive, too.
My husband is super picky and he LOVES this place. It's recently moved into a more modern building across the street from its original location and this space is modern and clean with an outside seating area. Their creamy Tortilla soup (can't remember what it's called) is phenomenal, I've never seen any like this anywhere else. Plus, you get free cheese sauce with your free chips and salsa!! Pictured is the dish I'm raving about. It does come with rice but I don't like Spanish rice. The soup comes with mushrooms and avocado but I requested mine to be without it. It's a huge serving and I enjoyed lunch the next with the leftovers. The staff was very nice and didn't mind my 1 y.o. granddaughter tumbling about. My son got a chicken dish that had chorizo on top that was very good, especially since I'm not a big chorizo fan. My daughter got Carnitas that were decent too.
Margaritas were great! Coming from Texas we know good Margaritas. Salsa had a little too much garlic, but still good. They give you a generous portion of food. We'll come back again next time we come through.
This eatery is excellent. I really appreciated it and adored it. The staff is fantastic, and you never need to flag anyone down because they are always checking up on you . Elite food was served. I had a great time here and would definitely return. a well-designed kids menu, as well as another area where children may place orders with good portion sizes and kind, hospitable menus and service.
We got take out at around 9 PM. We ordered the Hacienda Vieja Molcajete with rice and black beans. They forgot the flour tortillas with our order. Use the sauce for this meal as a sauce on the side or just add a little. They give you a ton of sauce, don’t dump it all in, it gets too soupy. The meat was prepared really well and the flavor was good.
We also ordered the Enchiladas Espinaca with black beans and rice. The flavor was great and there were plenty of veggies. They filling dish despite it being veggies.
The salsa was a soupy consistency and was too spicy for me.
We will definitely be ordering from here again.
Great food and huge portion. Quick service, too.
